What to expect during the Skylight installation
The timing to complete the project depends on roof pitch, shaft depth/shape, and weather, but most projects take between half a day and three days. The rooftop work (cutting the opening and fastening the skylight with its protective layers) is usually completed first, followed by the interior finish. Plan on about half a day per skylight for interior work such as drywall and painting, with vaulted or flat ceilings affecting the exact time needed.
